Soccer Game Preview: Lebanon Trail vs. Heritage

The Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers will venture away from home to take on the Heritage Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lebanon Trail's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lebanon Trail fell victim to Centennial and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. While losing is never fun, the Trail Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Titans are ranked 38th).

Meanwhile, Heritage had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Raccoons by a score of 3-1.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 5-3-2. As for Lebanon Trail, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-3.

Lebanon Trail might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Heritage in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Lebanon Trail avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
