Volleyball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Catawba Ridge Copperheads. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Copperheads this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Friday.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Catawba Ridge, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lexington will head out to square off against Gilbert at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Catawba Ridge, they will venture away from home to take on Dreher at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
