Soccer Game Preview: Lutcher vs. Morgan City

The Lutcher Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Morgan City Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Morgan City will have to contend with a Lutcher team hungry for a win, something the squad hasn't seen since December 12. Lutcher came up short against St. Michael last Saturday, falling 4-1.

Meanwhile, Morgan City came up short against Archbishop Rummel on Saturday and fell 3-1.

Morgan City's goal came courtesy of Diego Vazquez, who's now up to three this season.

Lutcher now has a losing record at 5-6-2. As for Morgan City, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-2.

Lutcher might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from Morgan City in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Lutcher avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
