Football Recap: Zarephath Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Zarephath Academy managed to slip by Lafayette the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles were outmatched by the Hornets and fell 43-14. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

It was another big night for Tywan K Williamson, who rushed for 140 yards and four scores on only 12 carries, and also threw for 174 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Lafayette. Those 140 rushing yards gave K Williamson a new career-high.

This is the second loss in a row for Zarephath Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Lafayette, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Zarephath Academy will face off against West Oaks Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Flame's rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lafayette, they will take on Wildwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.25 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
