Pleasure Ridge Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 14-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Butler Bears. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Catherine Wright made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. JoJo Strange was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Pleasure Ridge Park's record now sits at 5-8. As for Butler, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season.

Pleasure Ridge Park will take on Eastern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Butler, they will venture away from home to face off against Whitefield Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
