Softball Recap: Westmoreland Takes a Loss

Westmoreland lost against Trousdale County back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westmoreland's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Trousdale County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season.

Westmoreland will head out to square off against Clay County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trousdale County, they will be playing at home against Red Boiling Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
