Softball Recap: Whitehall-Yearling Comes Up Short

Whitehall-Yearling fell victim to Bishop Ready and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 11-0 to the Silver Knights. The Rams have struggled against the Silver Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Whitehall-Yearling saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tamia Latham, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Whitehall-Yearling now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Bishop Ready, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitehall-Yearling will welcome Westland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Ready, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Buckeye Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Barons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Silver Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
