Softball Recap: Lakeside Takes a Loss

Lakeside came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the White Hall Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Lakeside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for White Hall, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Lakeside will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Arkansas at 5:00 p.m. on April 11th. As for White Hall, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-4 defeat against Woodlawn on the 8th.
