Baseball Recap: Overhills' Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Overhills hadn't done well against Triton recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Overhills Jaguars won by a run and slipped past the Triton Hawks 6-5. The victory was some much needed relief for the Jaguars as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

The team relied heavily on Isaac Devine, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Kolt Berry, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Overhills' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Triton, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-2.

Overhills will have a chance to go back-to-back against Triton: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
