There's no place like home for North Providence, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past the Times Squared Academy Eagles 69-44 on Wednesday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

North Providence got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Elyse Brassard out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. What's more, Brassard also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Catherine Nicolo was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.

North Providence smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.

North Providence's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.4 points. As for Times Squared Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

When North Providence and Times Squared Academy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. North Providence will try to stop Davies Career & Tech's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. North Providence is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.1 points per game this season. Similarly, Times Squared Academy will challenge Hope and their six-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
