Meanwhile, Springfield Gardens lost to Van Buren on the road by a 43-28 margin on Tuesday.

Springfield Gardens has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Metropolitan, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
