Softball Recap: Theodore Takes a Loss

Theodore and Wetumpka squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Theodore had to settle for second. They came up short against the Indians, falling 12-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 10-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Theodore has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season. As for Wetumpka, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 44-5.

Theodore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wetumpka, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 defeat against Baldwin County on the 8th.
