Basketball Game Preview: Reavis Rams vs. Amundsen Vikings

Having just played yesterday, the Reavis Rams will jump right back in to play the Amundsen Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Reavis is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Reavis' tournament run continued when they took on Resurrection on Friday. Reavis took a 50-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Resurrection.

Meanwhile, Amundsen also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Latin by a score of 45-37. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 435th, while the Romans are ranked 203rd).

Amundsen has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Reavis, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
