Volleyball Recap: Forest Hills Eastern Takes a Loss

Forest Hills Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Catholic Central Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hawks have suffered against the Cougars since September 15, 2022.

Forest Hills Eastern took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 25-22.

Among those leading the charge was Cara Wolf, who had 16 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last 14 contests.

Forest Hills Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Catholic Central, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7.

Coincidentally, Forest Hills Eastern and Catholic Central will both be playing Lakeview the next time they take the court. The Hawks will host the Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
