Max Richardson put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Monday. He struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Even though Richardson couldn't lead Trinity Christian Academy over Tipton-Rosemark Academy, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long.
