Basketball Recap: Breckinridge County Takes a Loss

Breckinridge County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The matchup between them and the Grayson County Cougars didn't end well, with the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers falling 73-55. The Fighting Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 80-78.

Breckinridge County's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Grayson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Breckinridge County will be playing at home against Bardstown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Breckinridge County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Bardstown likes a good challenge. As for Grayson County, they will head out on the road to face off against Apollo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grayson County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
