Baseball Recap: Ocoee Gets the Win + How To Watch

Ocoee won the last time they faced Lake Highland Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The Knights came out on top against the Highlanders by a score of 9-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Ocoee got a massive performance out of Peyton Neeley, who went 1-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. Those five RBI gave Neeley a new career-high. Serico Allen was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Ocoee's record now sits at 5-8. As for Lake Highland Prep, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-4.

Coming up, Ocoee will challenge Foundation Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season. As for Lake Highland Prep, they will square off against Edgewater at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
