Bloomsburg extended their losing streak to ten on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 1-10 in the process. They fell 17-14 to the Loyalsock Township Lancers. On the bright side, the 14- run effort marked the Panthers' highest-scoring game to date.

Clayton Lunger made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Shane Frey was another key player, going 2-for-5 with four RBI and one run.

As for Loyalsock Township, they now have a winning record of 5-4. They haven't had any issues with Bloomsburg recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

On Loyalsock Township's side, they let Kayden Keefer and Preston Gross run wild. Keefer went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Gross went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double. Those three RBI gave Keefer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Drake Dupont, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomsburg will square off against Mifflinburg at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Loyalsock Township, they will challenge Central Columbia at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Lancers are facing the Bluejays at the right time seeing as the Bluejays are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
