Basketball Recap: Garden City Takes a Loss

Garden City lost against Huron back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Garden City Cougars took a 56-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huron Chiefs.

Garden City has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points over those games. Huron's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-10.

Coming up, Garden City will challenge Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Garden City is facing Glenn at the right time seeing as Glenn is stuck on a 17-game losing streak. Huron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
