Volleyball Recap: Murray Spartans vs. Stansbury Stallions
Murray's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Stansbury Stallions as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Spartans have beaten the Stallions the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Stallions has come to flipping the script.
Murray not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Stansbury between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.
Aaron Nelson paced Murray's offense, picking up eight kills. Nelson got some help from Daniel Haskell and his 29 assists.
