Soccer Recap: Grapevine Takes a Loss

Grapevine was the 2-0 winner over Argyle when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Grapevine Mustangs fell just short of the Argyle Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Nico Greuling and Isaac Taylor scored both of Grapevine's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Grapevine now has a losing record at 5-6-2. As for Argyle, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Grapevine didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Denton on the 31st. As for Argyle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Colleyville Heritage on the 31st.
