Basketball Recap: Century Comes Up Short

Century was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-64 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Mary's Central Saints. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Century now has a losing record at 5-6. As for St. Mary's Central, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Bismarck the next time they take the court. St. Mary's Central will host Bismarck at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Century will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
