Unioto has gone 9-1 against Southeastern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Shermans will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 5:15 p.m. Unioto will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Unioto had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Piketon on Friday. The Shermans put the hurt on the Redstreaks with a sharp 12-1 victory. That 11-run margin sets a new team best for the Shermans this season.

Blake Sanders made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jaxon Zickafoose, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Caden Speakman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Southeastern didn't have quite enough to beat Zane Trace on Friday and fell 5-4.

Unioto's record is now 11-4. As for Southeastern, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

Unioto couldn't quite finish off Southeastern in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 3-1. Can the Shermans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
