Basketball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Red Creek Rams 107-32. The Black Knights lost against the Rams in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 81-39 score last time.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Red Creek, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion and Clyde-Savannah will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Red Creek will take on North Rose-Wolcott in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
