If Bunn was feeling good fresh off their 68-30 takedown of Falls Lake on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bunn Wildcats took a 59-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wake Prep Academy Guardians on Saturday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was CJ Kearney, who posted 11 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Bailey, who earned 11 points along with seven boards and three blocks.

Bunn's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Wake Prep Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Bunn will welcome Rocky Mount at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wake Prep Academy, they will head out to challenge St. Thomas More Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
