Softball Recap: Mission San Jose Warriors vs. Irvington Vikings
Mission San Jose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Irvington Vikings. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.
Mission San Jose saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Neha Okhade, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs Okhade has posted since back in March of 2024. Another was Vaishnavi Nadig, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.
