Florida and Texas lead the way with 18 combined players prepping for the NCAA championship in San Antonio.
With the Final Four tipping off Saturday at the Alamodome in San Antonio, we look back at where every player from Auburn, Duke, Florida and Houston played high school basketball.
Florida leads the way with 11 players, including seven suiting up for the in-state Gators. All-Americans
Johni Broome of Auburn,
Cooper Flagg of Duke and
Walter Clayton Jr. of Florida played high school ball in the Sunshine State – though citizens of Maine would be quick to point out Flagg began his career in the Pine Tree State.
Texas is second with seven players, six of which play for Houston. The Cougars face Duke in one semifinal while Florida will play Auburn in the second.
Georgia checks in at No. 3 with six players including three from Auburn.
Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.),
Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, Calif.),
Paul VI (Chantilly, Va.) are the only schools with multiple representatives on this list.
Only players who played at least one minute this season were included below.
In total, 16 states are represented along with Australia, Lithuania, Nigeria, Slovenia, Sudan and Turkey.
