Basketball Recap: Chireno Finds Home Court Redemption Against Hemphill

There's no place like home for Chireno, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the Hemphill Hornets 58-39 on Tuesday. The Owls pushed the score to 49-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hornets cut but never quite recovered from.

Chireno is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Hemphill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Woden the next time they take the court. Hemphill will head out to face Woden at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Chireno will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
