Basketball Game Preview: Spring Hill Panthers vs. Carthage Bulldogs

Spring Hill is on a five-game streak of home losses, Carthage an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Spring Hill Panthers will welcome the Carthage Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Spring Hill ended up a good deal behind Kilgore and lost 46-27.

Meanwhile, Carthage was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 42-38 to Gilmer.

Carthage's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Spring Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-18.

Spring Hill came out on top in a nail-biter against Carthage in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, sneaking past 42-39. Will Spring Hill repeat their success, or does Carthage have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
