It was a good run, but Emerald unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the American Eagles.

Emerald's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for American, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Emerald wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Bentley on the 13th. As for American, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Granada on the 13th.
