Volleyball Recap: Rains Takes a Loss

Rains was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Commerce Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 3rd.

The final score came out to 25-19, 12-25, 25-16, 25-19.

Rains' loss dropped their record down to 6-29. As for Commerce, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rains is set to challenge their familiar foe Chisum at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Commerce will face off against rival Lone Oak at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
