Havelock is 0-10 against D.H. Conley since April of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Havelock Rams will be playing at home against the D.H. Conley Vikings at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with seven defeats in a row dating back to last season, Havelock turned things around against West Craven on Friday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 13-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Ian Daub made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Austin Livingston, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Cody Jones, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Havelock kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Craven only managed six hits.
Meanwhile, D.H. Conley won against South Brunswick on Friday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. D.H. Conley walked away with a 5-2 victory over South Central. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Caleb Case looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Nolan Winfield was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. Ryker Butcher was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
D.H. Conley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Havelock, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
