Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Classical Academy). They breezed by the Guajome Park Academy Frogs to the tune of 73-35 on Monday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Caimans had established a 26 point advantage.

Classical Academy found their leader in freshman Issac Chapman, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan French, who posted nine points.

Classical Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Classical Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-14 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Guajome Park Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Coincidentally, Classical Academy and Guajome Park Academy will both be playing Escondido Adventist Academy the next time they take the court. Classical Academy will host Escondido Adventist Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Guajome Park Academy will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
