Softball Recap: Make It 11 in a Row for Ridgefield Park

Ridgefield Park came tearing into Wednesday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Becton Wildcats get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The Scarlets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Ridgefield Park's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Becton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7-1 record this season.
