Basketball Recap: Cape Elizabeth Comes Up Short

Cape Elizabeth was the 65-43 winner over Poland when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cape Elizabeth Capers fell to the Poland Knights 70-64. The Capers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cape Elizabeth's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Poland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cape Elizabeth will face off against Greely at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Poland has already played their next contest (against Yarmouth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
