North Valley Christian Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Horizon Honors on Saturday. The North Valley Christian Academy Lions fell 28-17 to the Horizon Honors Eagles. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Valley Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chardonnay Pryce, who posted four points and three steals. Pryce is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Triniti Terracciano, who earned seven points.
Even though they lost, North Valley Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Horizon Honors only pulled down five offensive boards.
Horizon Honors can attribute much of their success to Josie Barden, who put up five points.
North Valley Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Horizon Honors, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
North Valley Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 35-32 victory against Lincoln Prep on the 9th. As for Horizon Honors, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 31-14 win against Cicero Prep Academy on the 7th.
