Flag Football Game Preview: La Serna Lancers vs. California Condors

The La Serna Lancers will head out to challenge the California Condors at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (La Serna 12.7, California 8.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

La Serna is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Santa Fe: they outscored them in every quarter. The Lancers never let the Chiefs get on the board and left with a 20-0 win on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now won four in a row.

Aubrie Baruch had an outrageously good game as she threw for 189 yards and three TDs.

La Serna didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Alainna Boochie and Presley Cornwell.

Meanwhile, California didn't have too much trouble with El Rancho on Monday as they won 38-20. The Condors pushed the score to 32-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Dons cut but never quite recovered from.

La Serna's record is now 12-10-1. As for California, their record now sits at 13-3.

La Serna lost to California on the road by a decisive 21-6 margin in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Lancers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
