Copper Hills and Herriman are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Copper Hills Grizzlies are taking a road trip to square off against the Herriman Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Copper Hills is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Bingham, who was ranked ninth at the time (Copper Hills was ranked 20th). Copper Hills took a hard 73-55 fall against Bingham on Friday. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Miners recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jacob Curtis, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Wesley Curtis, who scored ten points.

Meanwhile, Herriman ended up a good deal behind Corner Canyon on Friday and lost 69-53.

Herriman's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 19-2. As for Copper Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

Copper Hills came up short against Herriman in their previous matchup back in January, falling 53-49. Can Copper Hills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
