Recap: Bishop Manogue Miners vs. Carson Senators
The Bishop Manogue Miners had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Carson by a score of 52-43 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bishop Manogue also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Manogue to victory, but perhaps none more so than James Williams, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Chase Debruin was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Bishop Manogue pushed their record up to 6-11 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Carson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Bishop Manogue will head out on the road to face off against Reed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carson, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Douglas at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Douglas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
