Recap: King's Academy Lions vs. Dillon Christian Warriors
The King's Academy Lions lost against the Dillon Christian Warriors back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. King's Academy was the victim of a tough 60-39 defeat at the hands of Dillon Christian. King's Academy has not had much luck with Dillon Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Dillon Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Thompson Stone, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Jackson Outlar was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.
King's Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Dillon Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.
King's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dillon Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lee Academy at 3:30 p.m. on February 7th. Hopefully Dillon Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday.
