Mt. Spokane is a perfect 10-0 against Ferris since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will face off against the Saxons at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Mt. Spokane proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Cheney 6-4. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won four matches in a row.

Meanwhile, Ferris hadn't done well against Mead recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Saxons had just enough and edged out the Panthers 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Saxons sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Mt. Spokane's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Ferris, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.

Everything went Mt. Spokane's way against Ferris in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Mt. Spokane made off with a 12-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
