Recap: Hundred Hornets vs. Richwood Lumberjacks
The Hundred Hornets''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They lost to Richwood on the road by a decisive 44-26 margin. Hundred has not had much luck with Richwood recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Hundred saw an underclassman step up: Toby Michael rushed for 213 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only eight passes. Michael is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played.
Hundred's loss was their third straight on the road , which bumped their record down to 2-8. More embarrasing are the teams that make up that slump in performance: Richwood, Valley, and Hancock. As for Richwood, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-9.
Hundred does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Richwood also has no future games currently scheduled.
