Softball Recap: Homedale Comes Up Short

Homedale was the 13-12 winner over Payette when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates on Wednesday.

Hadlee Brown was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Homedale has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Payette, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homedale will welcome Weiser at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Payette, they will host Melba at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
