Having struggled with three losses in a row, Fayette Ware turned things around against Lausanne Collegiate on Friday. They walked away with a 57-46 win over the Lynx.

Ke'Miyah Buggs continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 25 points along with eight steals and seven boards. Her afternoon made it 11 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Victory McKinnie, who posted 17 points and four steals.
Fayette Ware smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in nine consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson South Side). They claimed a resounding 80-21 victory over Haywood. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 32 points or more this season.
Fayette Ware better keep an eye on Jaidynn Askins. She was instrumental in Jackson South Side's win, going 8 of 12 on her way to 23 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. With that strong performance, Askins is now averaging an impressive 15.7 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Ri'Kiya Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards.
Fayette Ware now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Jackson South Side, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Fayette Ware has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 31.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Jackson South Side struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
