Spanaway Lake won the last time they faced Yelm and things went their way on Monday too. The Sentinels came out on top against the Tornados by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Yelm scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 25-21.

Spanaway Lake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keileana Sablan-Douglas, who had 21 digs and one assist. Those 21 digs gave Sablan-Douglas a new career-high. Scarlett Wilson was another key player, getting nine digs and three aces.

Despite the loss, Yelm still got an impressive performance from Rylee Hominda, who had 20 assists and 12 digs.
