Soccer Recap: Fort Dorchester Comes Up Short

Fort Dorchester managed to keep up with Gray Collegiate Academy until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Patriots lost 5-2 to the War Eagles. Fort Dorchester have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fort Dorchester now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Looking ahead, Fort Dorchester will face off against Ashley Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ashley Ridge's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they will square off against Gilbert at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Gray Collegiate Academy will be up against Gilbert's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.62 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
