Softball Recap: Waupaca Takes a Loss

Waupaca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 8-2 to the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 on Monday.

Waupaca's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Luxemburg-Casco, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-3.

Luxemburg-Casco has already played their next game (against Sevastopol), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Waupaca will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' match: after the Spartans face off against Waupaca, they'll take on Waupaca again.
