Football Recap: University Comes Up Short on the Road Against Keller Central + How To Watch

University had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 43-17 to the Keller Central Chargers. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why University lost, don't look at Darrius Thomas. Despite the final result, he rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns.

University wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 41-8 win against Granbury on the 5th. As for Keller Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 55-20 victory against Grand Prairie on the 5th.
