He is becoming a predictor of Spring Woods' success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is 19-1 (and 4-6 when he doesn't). Meanwhile, East View beat Anderson 57-49 on Monday. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Trojans are ranked 689th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

East View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points over those games. As for Spring Woods, their record is now 23-7.
