The Summit Christian Academy Eagles won the last time they faced the Porter Pirates, and things went their way on Friday too. Summit Christian Academy was the clear victor by a 50-24 margin over Porter. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Summit Christian Academy.
Summit Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trinity Garnatz, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Katey Stemple was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 5 rebounds.
Summit Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Porter, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
